Normally, having selected to load either a single container or multiple containers, CARGOMANAGER will proceed to determine a volume efficient packing which meets YOUR loading requirements.

Whilst for some consignments the types of product being transported may mean that virtually any volume efficient and stable loading arrangement may be acceptable, in most organisations the nature of the products forming a consignment, together with local 'rules' relating to what is an acceptable packing, need to be considered.

CARGOMANAGER uses a set of packing options which allow you to stipulate such rules. On installation the parameters shown below are set at values which meet the needs of your products and loading environment and these settings can typically be left unchanged thereafter. The settings allow the user to determine the way in which the packing is carried out. Part of a sample Packing Options screen is shown below:
